Turn an idea into a clear, responsive experience people can actually use.
Ryan Tanti · Web developer · Local councillor
I’m Ryan Tanti. I create clear, practical web experiences for clubs, local businesses and new ideas—while serving the community I call home.
About Ryan
I am rooted in Ħad-Dingli and interested in a simple question: how can useful ideas improve the places and communities around us?
That question connects my work in web development, local government, planning enforcement and football. Whether I am organising information for a website, explaining a council initiative or helping a local club communicate with supporters, I aim to make the next step clearer for the person on the other side.
I see technology as a practical civic tool. Good digital work should be understandable, accessible and grounded in real needs—not built for its own sake. My projects bring that approach to community organisations, Maltese public information, education and local enterprise.
Turn an idea into a clear, responsive experience people can actually use.
Keep people, place and public value at the centre of every decision.
Make complicated information direct, readable and easier to act upon.
Selected digital work
My work starts with a real need, then turns it into something people can understand and use with confidence.
01 / Club platform
A stronger digital home for club news, fixtures, league information, sponsors and supporters—built to put the club front and centre.
02 / Interactive learning
A free poker game and academy combining rules, strategy, interactive teaching tools and researched histories of poker and casino games. Born from my love of the game, it does not promote or offer real-money gambling.
Why I built it
I created the Knights Poker purely for educational purposes, inspired by a genuine love of the game. For me, poker is not only about learning which cards to play; it is also a way to develop patience, close observation, disciplined decision-making and emotional control.
At the table, players learn to notice how people communicate, consider their possible intentions and assess whether their behaviour appears genuine. These lessons do not make anyone an infallible judge of character. They can, however, sharpen our ability to form careful judgments from incomplete signals.
That same mindset has value away from poker: staying calm under pressure, weighing risk against reward, resisting impulsive reactions and making thoughtful decisions when not every fact is known.
03 / Small business
A refined, mobile-first home for a Maltese celebration-cake business, designed around visual storytelling and simple customer enquiries.
04 / Interactive
A location-led game concept that turns Maltese places and identity into an accessible browser experience.
05 / Publishing platform
A Malta-focused news and public-information portal bringing together as many relevant stories as each day requires, with bilingual reporting, useful explainers and interactive content.
Why I am building it
Il-Ġabra was born from my love for Malta and my belief that our country deserves a modern, bilingual news and public-information portal of its own. I am developing it to reflect the full breadth of Maltese life and the everyday stories that shape who we are.
My aim is to make important—and sometimes complicated—national issues clearer, more accessible and genuinely useful. The portal is intended to be patriotic without being partisan, guided by editorial independence, transparent source attribution and a clear commitment to correcting errors.
What I bring
Clear experiences designed to work naturally across phone, tablet and desktop.
News, projects, fixtures and information organised so people find what matters.
Practical links to trusted data, calendars, directions and external services.
Readable typography, keyboard-friendly controls and interfaces built for real users.
Community
Rooted in Ħad-Dingli
I have served as a local councillor since 1 July 2019. My community work has included older persons, persons with disabilities, animal welfare, health, safer streets and public-space improvements—always with residents at the centre of the conversation.

Supporting local health initiatives and opportunities for residents to remain active and connected.

Writing for Iż-Żagħfran
My Iż-Żagħfran contributions explain local work in plain language, recognise the people who make it possible and keep attention on what still needs to be done.
A message for the village feast that also returns to everyday road safety: clearer signs, responsible driving and shared respect on local streets.
A plain-language, bilingual public-information contribution designed to help residents understand how enforcement measures work and what they mean in practice.
Progress on improving the younger children’s play area at Ġnien il-Ħaddiem through cooperation and community partnership.
Practical information and continued advocacy around health, inclusion, active ageing and the welfare of animals in the locality.
Iż-Żagħfran is the Ħad-Dingli Local Council publication distributed to residents. View an official publication notice ↗
