Inside the academy

A serious way to learn a game of uncertainty.

The experience moves from foundations to decisions. Learners can read, calculate, practise and revisit concepts at their own pace.

01

Structured learning

Clear courses explain the rules, hand construction and strategy of Texas Hold’em, Omaha, Stud and Pineapple variants.

02

Decision practice

Interactive scenarios turn abstract ideas such as position, board texture, blockers and redraws into choices learners can examine.

03

Poker mathematics

Equity, outs, pot odds and expected value are presented as understandable learning tools—not promises of profit.

04

History and context

Researched timelines explore poker, casino games and the uncertain origins behind familiar rules, names and traditions.

Growing course library

One academy. Several ways to play.

Each variant is taught on its own terms, with special attention to the rules that are easiest to confuse when moving from one game to another.

Why I built it

More than the cards.

I enjoy poker because it rewards patience, observation and disciplined decision-making when the available information is incomplete. Those are useful habits far beyond a card table.

Knights Poker turns that interest into an accessible public resource. It teaches how the game works while being honest about uncertainty: good reasoning can improve a decision, but luck and chance remain integral to every hand.
